The Hitch Hiker's Guide to AQ Travel

Introduction to Travel

We begin our journey in a town called Battleon. Battleon is the largest village in Lore with a population in the Thousands. As this Village grows, so does the need to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The need to travel!

It is because of this need I write this guide. I will show you the most rewarding spot Lore has to offer as well as what speed bumps* (what’s a speed bump?) to expect. Let’s begin with a simple Q&A:

Q:Any rules I should know?
A:"Don’t Panic"
Q:What kind of person can travel?
A:This one's easy. Only people called Guardians have the luxury of Travel.
Q:Where to start Travel?
A:At the local Inn. Behind Yulgar * (the only man that can put a minotaur in a head lock and give it a nuggy) you’ll see a Registration Form. Simply click on it with your mouse and pick the option “Travel”* (simply click on it with your mouse? Mice squeak not click, further more why are you holding a mouse in your hand? You plan on making some stew?). Next you will find yourself at what has been dubbed the Crossroads. Here you can pick which lovely location you wish to travel to.

Here is a list of locations:

Somewhere:A Moglin Guide will warp to a random location in Lore.
Lolosia:A small port village. Here you can Sail across the Seven Seas* (7 seas? You fairy dust did you get into we got 1 ocean).
Granemor:A village with a bad reputation that just wont DIE.
Battleon:Duh!
Smoke Mt:This active volcano puts on quite a show, just be weary of its inhabitants.
Skaerling Desert:Miles & miles upon miles & miles upon miles & miles of sand.
Northlands:Miles & miles upon miles & miles upon miles & miles of snow.
Kristall Reef:Make sure to grab your snorkel* (snor what?) for this location. Be warned the fish are rued.
Dwarfhold Mountains:Climbing this mountain range will give you an unforgettable view of Lore and for “Artix sake” don’t call them little. They prefer vertically challenged.
Green Guard Forest: One of the best place to pitch a tent. Nothing beats a star lit night in the woods.

There will be a colored star Next to each local telling you How many times you’ve successfully traveled through these places.

1 trip5 trips
2 trips6 trips
3 trips7 trips

After that you’ve proven you are a sad lonely geek and the moglins won't keep track of your journeys anymore.

The Basics

A note on how many Battle you must win, Final Battle Monsters and Treasure; It’s all based off your Characters stats. Battles is based of XP lvl:* (I know battles for 1-59 is incorrect but you can leave a post on how many battles there are for what LVL and I’ll changed it)

Your Level# of Monsters
0-93
10-194
20-295
30-396
40-497
50-598
60-699
70-7910
80-8911
90-9912
100-10913
110-12914
13015

Final Battles are also based off your XP lvl and you will only get a Final Battle if your lvl30+. If you are under level 30, you get a Small Treasure Chest as a prize, you do not meet a boss monster at the end of the travel mini-quest, and you do not get a Star.

L*Chest TypeGold
30 to 49Treasure Chest275
50 to 64Big Treasure Chest425
65 to 84Huge Treasure Chest650
85+Treasure Hoard800
*L = Character Level + Luck/5

* (this formula was made by the Good Capt himself)
